Description

This symphony has several sources. First is the figure of Ramon Llull (c.1232-1316) , whose life and work serve to create a sounding impression throughout the three movements of the piece: I. Early Years, from the Court to Mysticism, II. The visions and the cave and III. Peregrinations and Conversions. I have also used a melody from Llull´s time, title Las Tres Morillas that reflects the influence of the three religions that coexist in Spain at the time (judaism, christianize and islamic).
