This grade 3 pasodoble for band could be seen as “classical” in many ways, since it explores the usual structure for this kind of music. However, there are some harmonic changes that can be unexpected, like the main tonal relationships, moving from D minor to C minor at the beginning, or going to Ab major on the bridge between the first and strain and the Trio in F Major.

This music was composed for the 40th anniversary of the foundation of STOMVI, a well known brass instrument maker settled in Xirivella (Valencia - SPAIN), under the petition of my friend Luis Martínez Martínez.
