This piece was the result of a consortium led by Hart Middle School (MI) and Bradley University (IL), and their teachers/conductors, Amy Lynn and Darrell Brown. As the title states, the music opens with a 4-voice canon that expose the main and only motive of the piece. That is followed with a groovy section with a catchy-chromatic melody that is varied throughout. And finally, the canon comes back to end the piece, followed with a bright coda.
